City of Ukiah Spring Break Safari Program 2025
For Current TK-8th Grade students
PRIORITY REGISTRATION
Priority Registration is now open until Monday, March 10, 2025. Students needing district provided transportation must register during the priority registration period.

LATE REGISTRATION
Late Registration will be open until Friday, March 21, 2025, but may be placed on a waitlist.

PROGRAM DATES
The Spring Safari program starts on Monday, March 31st and ends on Friday, April 4th.

LOCATIONS
Spring Break Programs will meet at the following locations. Students from all UUSD sites are eligible to attend.? Students attending Charter and private schools are not eligible for the UUSD program.
-TK - 5th Grade programs at Yokayo Elementary School
-6th - 8th Grade programs at Pomolita Middle School

PROGRAM
The Spring Break Program consists of a morning and an afternoon program. The morning program will include education, enrichment, and recreational activities. Each session will include a variety of options your student can sign up to participate in (for example: sports camp, arts and crafts, STEM Activities, Etc.)
Students will be enrolled for the full day and length of the program, but there is flexibility with early pick up as needed. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided to all students.

SCHEDULE
-Student Drop Off (parent or bus)/7:30 - 8:00 am
-Morning Session: 8:00 - 12:15 (breakfast provided at 10am)
-Lunch: 12:15 - 12:45
-Afternoon Session: 12:30 - 5:00 (snack provided)
-Parent Pickup/Bus: 5:00 - 5:30

BUSSING
Transportation will be provided to and from the program in the morning and at the end of the day (5pm). Students who need bussing must register BY MONDAY, MARCH 10, 2025.

ACCEPTANCE
You will be notified of your acceptance by Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Applications received after March 10, 2025 may be placed on a waitlist if the program is full.

Para estudiantes actuales de TK a 8º grado
INSCRIPCIÓN PRIORITARIA

La inscripción de prioridad está abierta hasta el lunes, 10 de marzo de 2025. Los estudiantes que necesiten transporte proporcionado por el distrito deben inscribirse durante el período de inscripción de prioridad.

INSCRIPCIÓN TARDÍA
La inscripción fuera de plazo estará abierta hasta el viernes 21 de marzo de 2025, pero se podrá entrar en una lista de espera.

FECHAS DEL PROGRAMA
Spring Break Safari Program comienza el lunes 31 de marzo y termina el viernes 4 de abril.

CENTROS ESCOLARES
Los programas se reunirán en los siguientes lugares. Los estudiantes de todos los sitios UUSD son elegibles para asistir. Los estudiantes que asisten a escuelas charter y privadas no son elegibles para el programa de UUSD.
-Programas de TK a 5º grado en la Yokayo Elementary School
-Programas de 6º a 8º grado en la Pomolita Middle School

PROGRAMA
El programa consta de una sesión matinal y otra vespertina. El programa por la mañana incluirá actividades educativas, de enriquecimiento y recreativas. Cada sesión incluirá una variedad de opciones en las que su hijo/a puede inscribirse para participar (por ejemplo: campamento deportivo, manualidades, actividades STEM, etc.).

Los estudiantes estarán inscritos durante todo el día y la duración del programa, pero hay flexibilidad con la hora de recogerlos temprano según sea necesario. Se les proporcionará desayuno, almuerzo y merienda a todos los estudiantes.

HORARIO
-Dejar a los estudiantes (padres o autobus)/7:30 - 8:00 am
-Sesión matinal: 8:00 - 12:15 (desayuno a las 10:00)
-Almuerzo: 12:15 - 12:45
-Sesión vespertina: 12:30 - 5:00 (merienda proporcionada)
-Recogida de padres/autobús: 5:00 - 5:30

TRANSPORTACIÓN
Se proporcionará transporte de ida y vuelta al programa por la mañana y al final del día (5pm). Los estudiantes que necesiten transporte en autobús deben inscribirse ANTES DE LUNES, 10 DE MARZO DE 2025.

ACEPTACIÓN
Recibirá una notificación de su aceptación antes del miércoles 12 de marzo de 2025. Las solicitudes recibidas después del 10 de marzo de 2025 podrán incluirse en una lista de espera si el programa está lleno.
