Feldenkrais - May 2025

The Feldenkrais Method was developed by Moshe Feldenkrais, a physicist, engineer, martial artist and educator. His method teaches you to become aware of habitual patterns and allows you to find options for new, more efficient and graceful movement. Many aches and pains disappear as we use ourselves in new effortless ways.

In Awareness Through Movement (ATM) lessons, the Feldenkrais teacher verbally guides you through a sequence of movements, usually lying on a pad, but sometimes sitting or standing. The instructions are to move slowly and gently so that self-awareness can begin to expand.

Benefits include:
Improvement in flexibility, suppleness and balance.
Reduction of pain aches and fatigue.
Increased coordination and muscular efficiency.
Stress reduction

Mats will be provided. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows you to move.
